Plane rides....NC-DC-BOS-PROV...All in a day's flight

I am an avid fan of the window seat on a plane. It is exhilarating to see the clouds in their glory and to wonder about the process by which they were made. I have never been one to chase scientific explanations for the purpose of things or to dig too deep into nature, but seeing the clouds always make me wonder. It’s beautiful, almost dreamy to be in the clouds, away from the reality of life on the ground, floating on a structure whose configuration and performance has never ceased to amaze me so far.

The clouds are glorious and if heaven if this is a semblance of heaven, I sure want to go now. Seeing the world from atop produces a feeling of awe; a calming sensation that takes all problems and puts them on hold for the moment. It frees the mind to wonder about other happy things. I wish one day to construct my version of paradise far above this world. I wish to join the clouds and become a working, moving, wonder producing, calm bring, and magnificent part of God’s creation.

A few photos..

I am usually into various items around the city...the two photographs are from events I have done. The Champagne Campaign was an event to celebrate some friends birthday. I am firm believer in the fact the photos are a great expression of real emotions. Plus it does not hurt to document one's life through visual evidence. The second photo is one of love in action. I recently did a couple wedding reception and I was amaze about how love can be displayed so genuinely and how people find each to complete other. It was a small and very intimate setting and I enjoyed it. I took almost a thousand photos, but this has to be my favorite because the looks said it all...knight

North Carolina, 3-29-11

This place looks like a farm. I am new Bern, and for the past few hours I have been watching episodes of prison break. Great show, I can see now why my friend David almost gets and orgasm every time this show comes on. Good guy, but apparently his mangina gets wet when he watches this show. Anyway, this is besides the point--I am here for a real reason--this is to see Jimbo. Jimbo is my younger brother and he has been away for almost a year fighting for peace and justice--at least that's what our young men and women are told when they are deployed--most of them fight for each other anyway because when you are that far away from home, all you have is the guy next to you--nothing else. Sometimes I wonder if those who gave out these orders really care about peace and justice, or is it another way to use other individuals to attain their real goal, which I think is fame and finance. War is profitable and it is one of the world largest economic ventures next to the church, hospitals, prisons, porn , and education.

I am just happy that he is finally on American soil and we can be a family again. Time for a new family photo.

It feels great to see my moter at peace now. While I am happy my heart goes out to those who did not come back and to those who still have to go to a war that should not be happening..only the good lord will bring your families comfort--Knight

JIMBO COMES HOME

Today is great day because I am flying down to North Carolina to see my little brother come home from war. I couldn't be any happier. You never know the feeling of how war impacts until you have been in it or until you have a family member or close friend go away to fight for "freedom." I put Freedom in quatation marks because many of the wars we fight do not make sense, but by their orders, our family members have to go. It is a very tough time. I watch for seven months that dreadful look on my mother's face, the scare in her eyes everytime the phone rang; as much as my father pretended to be strong because that's what men are supposed to be, he was scared and missed his son. He and Jimbo would wrestle every time and their relationship was way better than my dad and I ever had. For me, Jimbo leaving for seven months was the longest time that we had every been separated, it was hard, but all one can do is hope.

I know this is only tour one, but just to have him back is a blessing and i just have to thank God, because of all the calls I received, none was about him being injured or dead. whew!!!

New Boyz/Mindless behavior @John Hope Settlement House

My job was simply to go an man the door at John Hope for a HOT106.3 Celebrity basketball tournament, but as I usually do, I took my camera. Good thing I did because I ended up taking great pics of teen R&B group Mindless Behavior and asloof hip super crew The New Boyz. It was a great turnout and I loved every minute of it. But of course like people in Provdience  are apt to do, someone stole one of my basketball called "The Coach's wife." Ugggghhhh!!!!!
